The STI range of industrial tension load cells, which are available in capacities up to 15000 kg, are specifically designed for high capacity hopper weighing, especially in the concrete batching industry. The fully sealed stainless steel construction provides excellent environmental compatibility, and OIML C3 approval makes the load cells suitable for legal-for-trade applications up to 3000 divisions.

Although tension load cells offer a convenient and effective solution for hopper weighing, most units do not have adequate thread size to accommodate appropriate eyebolts or rod-end bearings. By contrast, the STI features a 36 mm thread in the top and bottom, allowing the fitting of support accessories with a high safe working load limit.
