Flying the Flag – Parkerfarm Weighbridge customer shows support for Ukraine

Companies and individuals have been quick to show their support for the Ukrainian people in these most difficult of times and the distinctive blue and yellow of their national flag can be seen across the country in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
When Penty Farming in Bedale, North Yorkshire ordered a new pit weighbridge from Chesterfield-based Parkerfarm Weighing, owner Robert Penty asked if the modular deck could be painted in blue and yellow.
Although this was a somewhat unusual request, Parkerfarm’s Sales Manager Mark Spick was more than happy to oblige: “We already supply weighbridges in blue or yellow, so combining the two posed no real problems for us. The 60 tonne Agrideck-SB weighbridge is made up of six modules in three sets of two so the layout lends itself to being a ‘large Ukrainian flag’.
Robert is delighted with the installation. “The weighbridge is an important part of our business. In our small way we’re supporting the Ukrainian people. We think the finished result is striking!”
