Bulk Hopper Scale Controllers and Software
Weightron’s high-speed hopper scale weighing terminal is specifically designed for controlling and managing hopper scales that are used for the loading and out-loading of bulk materials at Ports and Grain Terminals. Our solutions are ideal for upgrading existing, less-efficient hopper weighers, including replacement load cells and mounting hardware. Multiple hopper scale installations can be controlled using our dedicated Centerpoint software.
SOLAS Container Weight Verification
Under SOLAS regulations introduced in 2016, the verified weights of shipping containers must be declared to the shipping line well in advance of loading.
We have developed specific SOLAS software for our DD1050 and DD2060 intelligent touch screen weight terminals, designed to integrate directly with the management systems of the relevant port and shipping authorities. This software can be used for new weighbridge installations or to upgrade existing ones. It is also suitable for collating the weighing of cargo as it is loaded into the container. The weights of the individual containers can be captured together with their unique serial numbers.
