    EV7-S Terminal – Fault Codes

    The D70E Terminal is a terminal that connects to platform scales and various printers, including the STB 80 Printer, STB Q3 Printer, STT 58 Printer, and LP 55 Printer.

    EV7-S Terminal – Malfunctions

    Problem Cause Remedy
    9999999 The scale is overloaded Reduce the weight to a value below the maximum scale capacity.
    The terminal remains off Poor battery autonomy Carry out a “battery charging”
    operation. Change the battery set if the fault persists.
    Poor battery autonomy Perform a “first charging” operation Change the battery set if the
    fault persists.
    POW.ER The standard adapter was wrongly connected for the first charging operation. Change the standard adapter for the one supplied with the battery set.

    EV7-S Terminal – Error Messages

    Problem Cause Remedy
    -01-
    Converter failure    		 Scale connector disconnected or broken / Conversion board failure Switch the terminal off and make sure that the connector is correctly connected. If necessary, disconnect it, re-connect it and then power the terminal again. / Contact our team.
    -02-
    EEPROM error    		 Voltage drop during an incorrect operation Reset the instrument. If the error persists, contact our team for possible replacement of the CPU board.
    -04-
    RAM checksum error
    -05-
    EPROM checksum error    		 CPU board fault Reset the instrument; If the error persists, contact our team for possible replacement of the CPU
    board.
    PC.ERR Communication error with the PC Check the cable that connects to the PC.

    Make sure that the PC is on and that the program has been installed correctly.

    Make sure that the port that
    communicates with the PC
    has been set up:

    access the Setup Menu by following pathway Person/MPP/COPC and select COM.1 (see par. 8.5.6 on page 1-101).
    NO ENAB During the installation phase, the weighing operation was enabled via serial link. The weighing operation cannot therefore be requested by pressing ⊙ Do not press key ⊙

    To request the weighing operation by pressing key ⊙, access the Setup Menu by following the pathway Person/MPP/RICH and select TASTO (see par. 8.5.6 on page 1-101).

      What is a Pit-Mounted Weighbridge?

      Installed inside a pit, these weighbridges sit flush with the road surface. As they don’t require ramps, they take up less road surface compared to surface mount installations. Suitable for sites with restricted access.

      What is a Surface-Mounted Weighbridge?

      Installed above ground, these weighbridges incorporate steel or concrete ramps to allow vehicles to drive on and off. One advantage is that the ramps slow down vehicle entry speed. Less foundation works are required when compared with pit mount installations. Surface designs are suitable for temporary/portable installations when used with steel ramps.
