DD1010 Terminal – Fault Codes
Weightron Admin|4 January, 2023
The DD1010 Terminal is a terminal that connects to scales and various printers.
- See the DD1010 FLYNET Terminal fault codes PDF
- See more on the DD1010 Terminal datasheet, the DD1010 i datasheet, and the DD1010 ic datasheet.
If you have a DD1010 Terminal, and are having issues or are getting the errors detailed below, be sure to contact our team for servicing and support.
DD1010 Terminal – Indicator Errors
| Problem | Cause | Remedy |
| The indicator does not turn on by pressing the power key | The blue LED if off | Check the status of the green LED on the power supply unit: if it is on, check the correct insertion of the connector in point 9 |
| The indicator does not turn on | Wrong key press | Press on the log in the centre of the key. When pressed, you can feel the key cover being pressed. |
| Pressure on the touch screen has no effect | Uncalibrated display | Switch the indicator off and on again. Within 5 seconds of switching on press anywhere on the display. Perform the display calibration operations. |
DD1010 Terminal – Scale Errors
| Problem | Cause | Remedy |
| OVERLOAD | The scale is overloaded | Reduce the weight to a value lower than the maximum capacity so that it is suitable to the weighing area. |
| UNDERLOAD | The scale is negative by at least 20 divisions. This message is only displayed if the scale is approved, otherwise, the weight preceded by the ‘-‘ character is displayed. |
Press the reset key: ➡0⬅
If the value does not reset to zero after pressing the key: 1) switch off the instrument and repeat the switching on operations; 2) inform the Service if the problem persists. |
| ◣◢ – – | Non-resettable weight | Unload the scale |
| – – – – – – | Unstable weight | Remove the cause of weight instability and try to switch the indicator on again |
| – LOCK – | Instrument no reset correctly | Unload the scale |
| – 01 – Faulty converter |
Incorrect or missing load cell connection | Check extension cable, junction box and load cells |
| – 01 – Faulty converter |
(*) Return signal from load cell out of range | Check that the load cell is efficient and that it works within its field of use |
| – 01 – Faulty converter |
(*) Card breakage | Check the conversion card with a load cell simulator. If the test result is negative, replace the converter card |
| – 01 – Faulty converter |
(**) Digital cells not responding | Check cell connections |
| – 02 – Error in parameter memory |
Data error in car parameter memory | Check linearised sampling parameters |
| – 06 – | (**) Serial number error on digital cell | Check the serial numbers and, if necessary, carry out angle calibration |
| – 07 – | (**) Breakage of a cell on multi-cell system | Replace the cell and carry out angle calibration or angle calibration for the individual cell |
| – 08 – | (**) Scale card breakage | Replace the scale card and carry out angle calibration or restore the indicator data (if they have been saved before the breakage) |
| – 09 – | (**) First system switching on | Carry out angle calibration |
| – 10 – | (**) At least one cell not configured | Carry out angle calibration |
| – 11 – | (**) Digital cell power supply problems | Check cables and power supply voltage |
| – 12 – | (**) Digital cell power supply problems | Replace the load cell that signals the error |
| – 13 – | (**) Cell with internal temperature outside the range (-40 ÷ 100°C) | Replace the cell that signals the error. Carry out angle calibration for the replaced cell |
| – 21 – | (**) Temporary digital cell error | — |
